There were three of them in the parking lot of my old work.All E39 that came to Australia are Auto boxes (except the M5) and the only time you'll find a Manual E39 is when its been swaped or is a personal import and the chances of finding one is close to 0.1% on a lucky dayI dint think it's hard at all to find a manual e39.You guys are hanging out with other gearheads too much. Like Dennis mentioned at least 80% of the cars are not on the market. Now-a-days the only people owning these cars are enthusiast and younger folk who can't afford newer BMWs. Generally, enthusiast are after the manual transmissions which make them much harder to get ahold of. Think of all the cars that are being scrapped, parted out (worth more as parts than a whole car), wrecked, or just plain not for sale.
