I'm pretty sure they have stopped making these as I've seen a different type in catalogs now. I do have the owners manual that I can scan and send you. Hopefully you can wait a week, because I'm heading up to the Sierras tomorrow. Yes, I will be using mine for hot shower water. It has both the 110v and 12v adapters in the adapter compartment. I plugged it in for like three days straight and it powered up. I was happily surprised. I used it on one trip but the battery went too low after half a day. That is to say, I got two cups of hot water out of it for breakfast hot chocolate (huge hit for my wife and daughter) and a bowl of hot water for breakfast dishes. Then it was turned off. It sat for half a day then I tried to use it at dinner and the light came on indicating low battery power. So we had to rely on the Coleman propane suitcase two-burner for hot water after that. Youtube vids say to run vinegar through it to keep the pump from seizing up due to calcium. I did that when getting home, then charged the battery up for another two days. Please upload the file as a post attachment instead. Not sure if the Service Dept answers a phone these days. It appears generic for the H2Oasis series. There is a very fine line between hobby and mental illness. - Dave Barry Does it have the 110v.I had to replace the battery a couple of years ago. It wouldn't work. Got a new battery and it still wouldn't work. Come to find out the pump had seized due to calcium build up. Being the cheap bastard that I am, I took it to work and hooked it up to a 24v. DC power supply (Heck, it was already broken, so did I have to lose?). It eventually broke loose and really spun up. I got a couple more trips out of it. I ordered two replacement pumps from Coleman.
Its significant upgrade if running the unit from a limited supply of water. It totally exceeded our expectations. We do a lot of camping where there are no showers available. We can set it up in just a couple minutes. We just bring the water we need. A nice hot shower after being out in the woods all day is really nice.Good as a doorstop, but definitely not hot water on demand.Works beautifully. Hooked a small five gallon propane tank to the unit instead of the 1 gallon disposable green ones so could refill instead of create garbage. Highly recommend.Sorry, we failed to record your vote. Tony 4.0 out of 5 stars This allowed me to dial the valve in so it is triggered by 5-10 PSI of water pressure. Next I placed the pressure relief valve to the water output of the Coleman with a T adapter.
I then attached a hose to the pressure relief valve and secured the hose to the water intake line all the way to the pump; essentially when you close the valve at the shower head, the pressure in the line increases and the pressure relief valve opens causing the hot water to flow back to the water source.I put it to the test on an island in Maine for 2 weeks with no electricity the unit continue to run pumping out over a hundred and thirty gallons of hot water before the battery needed replacement. The average amount of water used per shower was about four gallons. When I open the box several parts were missing that are Central including the battery and the pump mechanism. Should be wear if you're tempted to buy this product as a used products. I highly recommend this unit. Its battery dies after about an hour of total use and though it offers a manual (electric free) lighting option, this is worthless if the pump cannot run due to a dead battery. It is not capable of being turned up to its hottest temperature otherwise it immediately shuts off. The only way to keep any continuous stream of LUKE WARM water is keep it turned so low that id have better luck using my body heat. Didn't get the opportunity to use it until the return date had expired so now im down several hundred dollars. Wouldn't even give this one star. The onboard battery had completely ruptured and failed (photos). Its a Li-Ion battery and so its very susceptible to permanent damage if its internal voltage drops too low. I accidentally left mine at full discharged state and then left the unit sitting in storage for over 9 months. After that the battery would not hold any usable charge. The old battery plug lead will need to be solder spliced onto the new battery. Whats most important though is the core water heater internals have been reliable. The thermostat setting we found perfect for showers has remained the same over multiple camping trips.
